“Best of the Best” by Tim Green is about a boy named Josh who is facing a hard time in his life. Not only are his parents getting a divorce, Josh hates his new dad’s girlfriend, and Josh also has to worry about baseball and school. The more you read of this book, the more interesting stuff happens; unfortunately no real excitement happens until nearly the end. Josh and his two friends, Benji and Jaden, presume that Josh’s dad’s new girlfriend, Diane, is cheating on his dad with her ex-husband. So the three kids are on the trail to find out what is going on with Diane and her husband. Find out!
“Best of the Best” by Tim Green is definitely not my favorite book. I did not find this book interesting; it was pretty boring. I prefer to play baseball rather than reading about each and every play. I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure that this book is made for boys! Pretty much half of the book was all about baseball. My opinion of this book is that it was not interesting to me, not much enjoyment for me, and would probably been better without all the baseball in it, since I really know NOTHING about baseball.
