This story is set in the future where genetic alterations have become easy-to-do, and also illegal. If you are found to be skidge, and illegal experimenting, you are banished to the beyond, or worse. Our main character, Lenni Hannix, is an artist with an uncanny ability to heal. Through the story, Lenni is always having trouble with her overbearing mother, and always getting help from her most trusted friend Elyle, who has been with her family for years.
